Bao’s Cocktail Bar

Great place to see the sunset! We went yesterday to watch the sunset and have a cocktail! The waiter was extremely helpful, the cocktails were very good (both we had ordered) and the view was as good as it gets. My wife and me both agreed things are probably not like this when it's high-season, but our experience was phenomenal.

Beautiful!!! Beautiful cocktail bar we sat by the water. There is a cute swing in the bar, which was a nice touch. Clean and modern aesthetic. Drinks are on the pricey side but that's expected. Staff were lovely!!

Fun club with DJ, cocktails and a fake experience of Mykonos because of the plethora of “ambience girls” The Bad: the young attractive Greek women that fill up the bar are “ambience girls” or “fillers” - covert gogo girls that never seem to stop dancing and partying despite the bar’s vibe collapsing at some point - so if you’re a single man/men in a group looking for a cultural experience meeting Greek women and learning about their culture, then definitely consider somewhere more much genuine (maybe off the beaten track, as Bao’s is likely not the only bar employing ambience girls. (BTW: I met some of these ambience girls from Bao’s after they were finished “work” at Bao’s - at local restaurant, and they admitted their occupation).

The Good: Late in the evening, great DJ, fantastic service from the barstaff, cocktails mixed to perfection

The Ugly: price for a cocktail sits at a not-so-Greek price-level of €24 per cocktail (other islands at prime locations charge considerably under €20 - typically €10 per cocktail for the same experience (DJ, vibes) - but without the ambience girls. So the ambience girls come at a price - and don’t bother trying to talk to them 😅. The bar/club has no view when it’s late, so there’s no reason to pay a premium for the waterfront location either. Enjoy, but your wallet will not thank you, nor will you experience the true Mykonos.

Gorgeous stunning views for a drink don’t miss this place Absolutely loved this place the most incredible view of little Venice and the windmills. We sat outside right by the water sooooo beautiful can’t recommend this place enough. Thought their outdoor seating area was even nicer than Negrita next door which is popular. Drinks are extremely expensive for a cocktail like close to $30 or something like that but beer and wine are very reasonably priced so we had wine $10 or so. Stunning views and perfect for a day time drink don’t miss

Best location in Mykonos Best location in Mykonos love the view you can be here for ever. Good lovely staff . Nice and friendly.. I will definitely come back

Great place to watch the sunset in little Venice but with limited tables I’d recommend arriving 45 mins beforehand.

You can enter from the rear or the front walking down the narrow sea wall. We didn’t have to book but did have to commit to a €40 each min spend.

£24€ a premium cocktail made this easy.
