Mosaic of Mykonos

After wandering around Mykonos a relaxing break to enjoy the waterfront view was appropriate, and Mosaic of Mykonos was ideal. We shared small, tasty plates of local tomatoes, dolmades, meat balls, Faba Bean hummus, cucumber and Kalamata olives all washed down with most flavoursome Ouzo on the rocks. The staff were attentive; the restaurant was busy and the ambiance perfect for the occasion.

Having declined to give us a drinks menu charged 9 euros for 500ml of draft beer. Nice enough but overpriced. Won't visit again.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! From the ambience to the service to the food and drinks, Mosaic far exceeded my expectations.

The wait staff were all charming, professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. They each lent a warm, friendly, and personal touch to each exchange.

The ambience was stylishly comfortable with a luxe Mediterranean seaside vibe. Gorgeous view of the harbor, perfect for sunset drinks or dining.

The menu is extensive without being overwhelming. Inventive with a focus on fresh local ingredients. We ordered 2 sushi rolls and a sashimi plate for a shared starter. The rolls were original, with interesting combinations that were little flavor explosions. The ponzu sauce with the sashimi was arguably the best I've had anywhere.

My entree was the shrimp risotto with urchin bisque. It was outstanding. A perfect balance of flavors left me wanting more. The risotto was Al dente but not undercooked, the shrimp had a nice bite. I could have eaten nothing but this dish for my whole stay.

A note about cats: Mykonos is populated with friendly cats that own the island. They are well cared for and predominantly neutered, given the number of notched ears I saw. The locals adore them and treat them well. They all have names and are part of the fabric of life here. They enjoy greeting people in restaurants, looking for a pet and handouts. If you are not a cat lover, I recommend letting your wait staff know when you arrive. The cats at Mosaic are family, but the staff will gladly remove them if you ask. In fact, they will ask if the cats are bothering you. We are all crazy animal people, so we loved it. It's not for everyone, so instead of being offput, just let the staff know you'd prefer a cat free experience.

Mosaic is 5 stars, highly recommend, a must-do dining experience on Mykonos.

Second time we have been to this restaurant in 3 days. The food, service and ambiance is all excellent. Thoroughly recommend

We wanted to get something lighter for the evening and I have to say this place was both fulfilling and sofisticated. The rolls are excellent, with beautiful touches in their presentations (flowers, fruits), and a very good quality of fish. I had the Delos delicious and a few nigiris. We also tried the salmon which is cooked with a crust of salt, the cooking was on point.

Amazing. We watched the euros here they have a few screens and great vibe. AMAZING sushi and also after we payed the bill during extra time they brought us a free glass of the wine we drank for the both of us! Excellent service and great food, will definitely come again!

We had sushi, Greek salad and tempura glaze. All were very good and the service was great! The view is the best!!! Although we didn’t order it the chicken skewers looked great!
