What To Do in Paros, Greece for 3 Days: The Ideal Itinerary
Why You Should Visit Paros
Visit Paros for its capital city Parikia. This picturesque town is known for its Byzantine-era Panagia Ekatontapiliani church, art galleries, boutiques, small museums, and cultural landmarks. You can also visit Paros to hike through scenic trails, enjoy wine tasting, and explore a picturesque fishing village called Naoussa.
Day 1: Exploring Parikia & Nearby Attractions
Start your adventure in Paros with a relaxed morning in Parikia, the island’s capital and main port. Begin with a traditional Greek breakfast at Meltemi Café, where you can enjoy everything from freshly baked pastries to Greek yogurt drizzled with honey.
Panagia Ekatontapiliani
After breakfast, make your way to Panagia Ekatontapiliani, one of Greece’s most important Byzantine churches. Dating back to the 4th century, this sacred site is known for its lovely chapels. Don’t miss the fascinating Byzantine Museum.
Parikia’s Old Town
Next, wander through the cobbled streets of Parikia’s Old Town. It’s a maze of narrow alleys lined with whitewashed houses and cozy tavernas. Pay a visit to Yria Ceramic Studio to check out unique handmade ceramics.
For lunch, head to Hellas Restaurant, where you can sample local favorites like moussaka, grilled octopus, and a refreshing Greek salad. Guests like the shaded courtyard and say that the reasonably priced house wine is amazing.
Marchello Beach
In the afternoon, hop on a boat ride or drive to Marcello Beach, a beautiful stretch of golden sand with crystal-clear waters. Whether you prefer lounging on sunbeds or finding a quiet spot to swim, it’s an ideal place to unwind. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can try water activities such as paddleboarding and snorkeling.
Parikia’s seafront
In the afternoon, go back to Parikia and sit in one of the many seafront bars and restaurants for the best sunset views. I recommend the laid-back Sativa Music Bar. If you are searching for a place to have dinner, go to Apostolis Ouzeri to try grilled squid, fresh fish of the day, and other seafood specialties.
Day 2: Adventure & Beach-Hopping
Naoussa
On your second day in Paros, go to explore Naoussa, a picturesque fishing village with a lively nightlife. Before visiting its main tourist attractions, grab your breakfast fix at Sousouro, a local eatery that serves fresh smoothies and delicious pastries.
Go for a stroll through Naoussa’s Old Port lined with colored fishing boats, whitewashed buildings, and blue-domed churches. This popular area is packed with boutique shops, art galleries, and cafes.

Your next stop is the Moraitis Winery. Book a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar to learn everything there is to know about Paros’ winemaking traditions and sample the island’s local wines that are paired with delicious cheeses and olives.
For lunch, I recommend stopping by Siparos, a charming waterfront taverna offering modern takes on classic Greek dishes. Their grilled seafood, sun-dried octopus, and fresh salads are simply delicious.
Kolymbithres Beach
Your next stop is Kolymbithres Beach. It is one of the island’s most famous beaches known for its unique rock formations that create natural swimming pools. You can rent a kayak here.
Lefkes Village
Before getting back to Naoussa, visit this small mountain village that offers panoramic views of the island. To snap some cool photos, check out the 17th-century Agia Triada Church. For a refreshing drink and majestic views of the valley, go to Café Marigo.
