If you ask us, you deserve more than one week in Mykonos. You can absolutely enjoy this incredible island in one week, but we think everyone deserves longer here.
The Greek island is famous for attracting the rich and famous, and the 5-star luxury that comes with it is one of the most popular in Greece. And despite being known for being slightly upmarket, it’s still that traditional Greece underneath. The result? The perfect blend of modern luxury with culture, history, and originality.
There’s something for everyone in Mykonos, but we want to ensure you get the most from your trip. Read on for our 1-week Mykonos itinerary guide.
Day 1: Arrival & Sunset at Little Venice
Morning: Enjoy coffee or wine by the pool at your villa booked through Kinglike Concierge. Mykonos is well known for its luxurious villas, so settling into yours after a flight will feel like heaven. Never rush the first morning of your holiday! Take it slow and enjoy the morning.
Afternoon: 1 day in Mykonos will leave you amazed. Mykonos Town (Chora) is the perfect place to get lost in shopping. At Mykonos, there is a boutique or shop at every corner that captures the essence of Mykonos. It really is a place of lavish luxury. Spend your lunch break (shopping is tricky) having the traditional seafood or grab an iced coffee at one of the quaint cafes. We think getting a feel for the area you’re staying in is the perfect way to spend the first day.
Evening: Little Venice is stunning. The sun’s setting on the dancing water creates a phenomenal view. The colorful houses and beautiful small beaches all combine to create a great atmosphere. Grab a cocktail (or mocktail) and spend the evening enjoying the Mykonos vibes.
Day 2: Relax at the Beach
Morning: Treat yourself to a luxurious breakfast in the splendid comfort of your villa. After you are satisfied, make your way to Ornos beach. Mykonos is exceptionally famous for Ornos Beach because of the shallow waters and the breathtaking perfect sands. The beach is ideal for lounging and cooling off.
Afternoon: Enjoy lunch at the beachfront dining spots – Kostantis is one of our favorites if you’re near Ornos beach! Then, if you wanted to try another beach, you could go to Psarou Beach for the afternoon. You can rent a sunbed and do some people-watching watching enjoying the warm afternoon sun.
Evening: We’d recommend having dinner at Nammos, a beachside club with the best views during meals, especially at sunset. This is located at Psarou Beach, which is known for its world-class dining and beach parties.
Day 3: Discover Delos Island
Morning: As part of your 3 day mykonos itinerary, we’ll focus on culture and history. Start with a boat trip towards Delos. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its archaeological finds. The island is said to be the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. It has modern ruins alongside ancient ones that are available for exploration. You can get to the island by ferry from Old Port, and it takes around thirty minutes.
Afternoon: Stop by Mykonos to grab a welcomed lunch at Alemagou Beach Bar at Ftelia Beach. This bar is quite remarkable with its relaxing atmosphere and gorgeous views. The bohemian vibes will keep you there for hours!
Evening: Enjoy a cozy night at your villa reading your book, watching a movie, or having a nighttime swim after a lovely dinner in Mykonos town. Just because the island is known for being crazy, there’s nothing wrong with being home and in bed by 9 pm.
Day 4: Explore Ano Mera & Northern Beaches
Morning: Take a break from the busy Mykonos Town and explore Ano Mera, one of the less famous villages on the island. You could also go to the Panagia Tourliani Monastery. Built in the 16th century, it is known for its astonishing architecture and tranquil vibes.
Afternoon: After exploring the village, go to Agios Sostis or Fokos Beach. Unlike the southern beaches, these are quieter and more peaceful. Visit Kiki’s Tavern by Agios Sostis for lunch. It has a very rustic vibe, but the food is great – we know you’ll love it.
Evening: Have dinner at M-eating in Mykonos Town. This is a well-known restaurant that has a modern approach to traditional Greek dishes that taste incredible. You can’t come to Greece without eating at a Greek restaurant!
Day 5: Party Time—Beach Clubs & Nightlife
Morning: Back to relaxing. After a morning of taking it slow in one of the Kinglike Concierge Mykonos infinity pool villas, it’s time for a relaxed day. Super Paradise Beach is a great choice. It has some lovely beach bars and is a great place to enjoy the day.
Afternoon: For a party, go to Jackie O’ Beach Club around noon. You can dance, sip on craft cocktails, and simply enjoy the zest for the party life that Mykonos offers. Mykonos is a classy place so these aren’t crazy beach clubs. They’re relaxed, house music, people order a thousand dollar bottles of champagne and a polite two-step to the music.
Evening: Dinner at Scorpios sets a base with their legendary sunset ritual. The bohemian-chic beach club is a great start to the evening. Follow it with a visit to Cavo Paradiso, one of the best nightclubs in Europe, for a mesmerizing night of dancing under the starlit sky.
Day 6: Boat Trip Around the Island
Morning: Mykonos has so many gorgeous islands and hidden coves – a private boat tour is the best option to explore them. Make sure you pre-book to get the best deals! You can prebook on websites like TripAdvisor.
Afternoon: Many boat trips include drinks and lunch, so you shouldn’t have to worry about that. Rhenia Island, another uninhabited jewel beside Mykonos, is an amazing stop-off place if you can find a boat trip that goes there!
Evening: Enjoy some of the stillness the evening offers at your villa. After a long day spent on water, cozying up beside your private pool or hot tub is the ideal way to conclude your day after a lovely dinner is the perfect way to finish the day. A quiet weekend in Mykonos is perfect.
Day 7: Departure Day & Last-Minute Shopping
Morning: Take the time to enjoy your last morning at the villa. Take your time with breakfast, enjoy the views, and savor being in one of the Kinglike Concierge luxury villas.
Afternoon: You can make a stop at Matoyianni Street to go souvenir shopping. Some of the most popular stores, local and foreign, are here. It’s an essential part of your 1 week Greece itinerary!
Evening: Make a short stop at Mykonos Town to grab some last Greek coffee before heading to the airport for your flight back home. But, with a week like this, resting is surely something you won’t think about.
